Chambered Mahogany Bodies — Ffatty, full, and richly acoustic

Like its predecessors, the Jet FT starts with a carefully chosen mahogany body and a maple top that delivers the recognizable Jet’s snappy, powerful response. We chose a 1.85″ depth and contemporary chambering for the Players Edition Jet FT to produce a tighter, more controlled attack while maintaining excellent articulation.

High Sensitive Filter’Tron Pickups – Classical Clarity and Power

The chambered body of the Gretsch players edition jet is combined with a pair of high-sensitive filter’Tron pickups to create a wide, balanced, and transparent tone that can be used for cutting through the mix and building a strong sonic foundation.

Players Edition Comfort, Control & Performance

The silver sparkle Gretsch reduced neck set, which also gives the picking hand a closer approach, increases comfort and accuracy while significantly improving fret-hand mobility in response to players’ requests for enhanced comfort. The easy access to upper frets is made possible by our revolutionary full-access rolling cutaway and tapered heel, eliminating awkward pivoting and palm obstruction. Gretsch silver sparkle streamlined design is concealed, maintaining a retro aesthetic—a crucial element that should be felt rather than seen.
